Kent and Jackie's wedding's wedding venue was near and dear to my heart since it is where I myself got married four years ago. Their wedding was at Harn Homestead in OKC. The forecast called for rain but it held off for both their ceremony and reception. Jackie had her Aunt from San Diego who is an event stylist decorate and coordinate the beautiful day. I am in LOVE with the tall statement centerpieces on the tables at the reception. There was also scrumptious food to be eaten! Ted's Cafe Escondido catered the cocktail hour and reception. Then the fabulous Amy Cakes made a bomb-tastic layer on the cake that was banana cake with a chocolate mousse. I enjoyed every bit of it and I don't even like chocolate(I know, gasp!) I will put out there my favorite is usually the traditional white wedding cake with a raspberry mouse or filling but this banana cake has been the closest competition thus far. Thank you so much Kent and Jackie for letting me be a part of your day!
