I am so excited to share with you this watercolor styled bridal shoot! Our shoot took place at Sorelle Meadow at Deer Creek in Thomas, OK. When I first began the idea for this shoot I had planned on keeping it simple to try out a water color background. That was until I learned of the new venue that was only 35 minutes away from me and I knew I had to plan it there with some fellow western Oklahoma vendors. This venue is unlike anthing I have seen in our part of the state, it is phenominal to say the least. It has luxe everything and so many different places to get married at. Oklahoma weather can be crazy and the day of our shoot it was 40mph winds but because it was in a bottom surrounded by trees we were able to shoot on their porch where there was perfect lighting! The getting ready cottage was dreams guys and we even ended up taking some photos in there on their pink velvet couch. Dear future brides get married there and then hire me to do it pretty please! Kasse Duffy Designs knocked it out of the part as always. Her floral was so soft and whimsical. My favorite was the goldish brown roses that added an antique and royal feel. Jaylynn was our model and the dress that I had found as a deal online fit her like a glove! Our hair and makeup artists were unable to make it last minute but thankfully I have done some of my bride's bridals, wedding party(even though I was shooting their wedding but I will step up wherever needed), pageants and other styled shoots in the past so I was prepared. Plus with beauty like hers she made it easy and I love how it turned out! Heart and Home Bakery made the cake and let me tell you, it was delicious! Each layer was a different flavor: carrot, chocolate, and strawberry. I am not usually a fan of carrot cake but it was my favorite of them all! Also the cake was still super moist 4 days later! I also really flexed my artistic muscles by painting the background, my muscles were so sore two days later!
